For Austria’s athletes, the home World Cup holds particular significance.
“Competing in front of a home crowd is something very special. For me personally, only major events like the Olympic Games and World Championships compare to the World Cup in Innsbruck. The atmosphere is incredible year after year because you can tell that the fans here truly understand the sport and are fully engaged,” says Jakob Schubert when speaking about the home competition.
Tickets are required for the evening events beginning on Thursday, and presale has already started. Fans hoping to experience the unique atmosphere live should secure their tickets soon, as previous editions sold out well in advance.
