In the final, the 19-year-old standout was the only athlete to secure three tops, finishing with 74.0 points to take a clear win ahead of fellow Japanese climber Rei Kawamata (59.3 points). Korea's Dohyun Lee completed the podium in third with the same score.
"I'm really happy with this victory. Innsbruck is always a very special place, and today's atmosphere was once again unique," said Anraku, celebrating his second win in Innsbruck after his triumph in 2023.
The Paris Olympic silver medallist continues to make history with his latest success. It marks his fifth consecutive Boulder World Cup victory, having already set a new record with his fourth straight win in Prague (CZE). "I always want to win, but I also know it's never guaranteed. The other athletes are incredibly strong as well."
Following the Boulder competitions, the focus at the World Climbing Series Innsbruck shifts to the Lead events this weekend. Qualification gets underway on Saturday at 8 a.m., with the semifinal starting at 7:30 p.m. The final on Sunday is also scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
