Ticketing
Tickets will be sold directly on the website in multiple phases, starting at the end of March 2026.
30.03. - Start Sale World Cup Passes
20.04. - 29.05. - Start Single Day Ticket Sale ("Early Phase"). End of the phase is subject to availability, May 29th the latest.
01.06. - Additional Single Day Tickets will be released ("Late Phase")
Tickets are required for all evening events of the Lead & Boulder discipline (see list below):
- Thu, 18 June: Boulder Final Women
- Fri, 19 June: Boulder Final Men
- Sat, 20 June: Lead Semifinals Men & Women
- Sun, 21 June: Lead Finals Men & Women
The Para Climbing event can be visited completely free of charge, as well as the Boulder Qualification & Semifinals and Lead Qualification.
There is a detailed overview on the respective "Ticketing" site. In the first ticket phase the final tickets will cost €28.00 and the semi-final tickets €20.00. There are cheaper tickets for kids and youth born betwenn 2011 and 2015. For children born in the year 2016 or younger, the entry is free and no ticket is necessary (The entry to the event venue is only possible when accompanied by a person of legal age in possession of a valid ticket. An ID must be shown at the ticket control).
The World Cup Pass costs €70.00 and includes all ticketed events.
Starting on June 1st, prices will increase, with final tickets being sold for €36.50 and semi-final tickets for €26.00. Again, there will be cheaper tickets for kids and youth born between 2011 and 2015.
The World Cup Pass includes all events for which a ticket is required. This means a maximum saving of up to €34 if you attend all events.
It is not possible to return tickets that have already been purchased. You can find more detailed information on this in our Ticketing AGBs.
No. Tickets can be presented at the access control both digitally (on your smartphone) and printed out.
In order to ensure the fastest possible entry on site, we kindly ask you to prepare your ticket (digital or printed) so that the QR code is clearly readable. It will be scanned at the entrance to the venue. For children/teens, please have a valid photo ID ready.
Please also make sure that you do not have any prohibited items with you. For example, no glass bottles etc. are allowed. Further information can be found in our house rules.
Tickets for the World Climbing Series Innsbruck are "one-way" tickets. This means that you may only enter the event venue once. Should you leave the site, unfortunately no re-entry is possible.
This rule also applies to World Cup passes - the event area may only be entered once per day.
Arrival & Parking
We recommend traveling to the event venue by public transport.
On the day of the respective event, as stated on your ticket, you can use your “World Climbing Series Innsbruck 2026” event ticket as an IVB ticket on all IVB lines in the Innsbruck core zone, including VVT line 540 (only in the Innsbruck core zone), with the exception of the “Sightseer” line. The general conditions of carriage and fare regulations of Innsbrucker Verkehrsbetriebe and Stubaitalbahn GmbH apply.
There are multiple stations that stop just a few minutes away:
- Bus line 540 - bus stop "Wohnheim Saggen" (approx. 5 minutes on foot)
- Bus line T - bus stop "Sebastian-Scheel-Straße" (approx. 5 minutes on foot)
- Bus line R - bus stop "Messe Innsbruck" (approx. 10 minutes on foot)
- Tram line 1 - bus stop "Bundesbahndirektion" (approx. 10 minutes on foot)
- Tram line 2, Tram line 5 - bus stop "Radetzskystraße" (approx. 8 minutes on foot) - HERE is a map on how to get from Radetzkystraße to Kletterzentrum Innsbruck
From the railway station "Bahnhof Messe" you can also reach the event area in approx. 10 minutes on foot. From the main station it takes about 30 minutes.
Another alternative is to come by (your own) bicycle or by using the IVB Stadtrad (city bike). Bicycle racks are available on site. You can find the locations of the city bikes here: https://stadtrad.ivb.at/de/#standorte.
There are no parking spaces available at the event site.

No. Due to the set-up for the "World Climbing Series Innsbruck 2026" there are unfortunately no parking spaces available for visitors on site. We therefore recommend traveling by public transport or by bike.
By plane:
Airport Innsbruck: Distance to competition venue: approx. 5 km. The airport Innsbruck is directly connected to many more European cities.
Airport Munich: Distance to competition area: approx. 200 km.
By train:
Innsbruck central railway station offers direct connection to almost all major European cities. All trains make a stop in Innsbruck. An overview of national and international trains may be found on Trainline.
Watching on site
The competitions will take place between the 15th and the 21st of June 2026.

Wheelchair users and people with disabilities are welcome to attend the event. There will be a separate area during events, for which a ticket is needed. However, as there is only limited space available, a separate ticket must be purchased for this. Due to organizational reasons, access to this area is unfortunately not possible with a general spectator ticket.
In general the event venue only offers standing room. However, at the Para Climbing event as well as the Boulder Qualfication and Lead Qualification round there will be seating available. If seating is required due to a physical impairment during the other events, please purchase a "limited mobility" ticket for the respective event, as seating can be provided in the area used for this purpose.
Yes, there will be the possibility to buy drinks and snacks at the event site and the KI bistro.
Generally, children are welcome to attend the World Climbing Series Innsbruck 2026. Depending on the competition round there may be no seats available at the event site. Therefore, and due to the large number of visitors expected, visibility may be very limited. We would also like to point out that there may be a high level of noise in some places, which is not suitable for (small) children.
Animals are not allowed on the event grounds. The only exception are certified assistance dogs.
The World Climbing Series Innsbruck is an outdoor event that will also take place in case of bad weather (for example rain). If extreme weather conditions (thunderstorms, strong winds) make it impossible to hold the event, this will be communicated as early as possible with further information. In case of cancellation for these reasons, the ticket price cannot be refunded. Further information can be found in the terms and conditions.

Items found and handed in at the event site will be kept at the accreditation or at the office of the Austrian Climbing Federation for the duration of the event. Items that are not picked-up by 25 June 2026 at the latest will be disposed of.
